A Flower for a Friend

I decided to use one of my more neglected stamp sets to make this sweet little 4.5" x 4.5" card. The layout was inspired by a sketch challenge posted by Beate Johns, check it out here (her blog has a lot of amazing cards on it!).

Hmmm... now to the difficult part... actually mailing this card to a friend instead of hoarding it in my secret stash of cards. Not so secret anymore, but hey I am trying to break the hoarding habit and the first step is admitting that you have a problem!!! :)

Quick note on the card... the pink color of the flower is Baroque Burgundy stamped off once.

All images copyright Stampin' Up!. Supplies used: Looks Like Spring stamp set; Baroque Burgundy, Always Artichoke and Whisper White cardstock; Baroque Burgundy and Always Artichoke stamp pads; Four Seasons designer paper; Fresh Favorites II buttons, Rich Regals brads and Linen thread; 1/16" hand held circle punch and Coluzzle cutting system.
