Bunch of thankful apples

Just what my dad would want for his birthday, a big bushel of apples. Not! But he might if I peeled, cored and sliced them into freshly baked apple pies. Oh, and threw in a gallon or two of vanilla ice cream. Wonder how that would travel through the mail system? :)

Main image notes: Image from For Father stamp set was stamped on Naturals Ivory cardstock with Black StazOn ink and then colored with Earth Elements Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a blender pen. Two strips of designer paper were adhered to an Old Olive mat and then a hole was punched with the handheld rectange punch through which a piece of Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon was threaded and then knotted. After which the main image was adhered and a silver brad added to the upper left corner.

Other notes: A 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Soft Sky was stamped with the Sanded background in the same color. The "thanks a bunch" sentiment from One Smart Cookie was stamped on the lower right corner and then paper piercing was added. All layers were sponged with Close to Cocoa Classic ink.

Stamps: For Father, One Smart Cookie, Sanded background. Paper: Close to Cocoa, Soft Sky, Old Olive, Naturals Ivory, Soft Sky Prints, Close to Cocoa Prints. Ink: Black StazOn, Soft Sky, Close to Cocoa. Other: Earth Elements Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin’ dimensionals, vintage brads. Tools: Rectangle hand-held punch, mat pack, paper piercer, blender pen.
