Cute new stamps, Exciting news... Can it get any better?

Oh yeah... how about a really cute card using the new stamps! My Paper Pretties stamps finally showed up... I was beginning to think the mail person had taken them! :)

Now for the exciting news... although you may already know since it was posted to the Paper Pretties site yesterday! Drum roll please... I am now officially a Prettie Girl. Yes, I've been promoted from Guest Designer to a full-fledged member of the Design Team. Woo hoo!! Yippee!!! Can you tell that I am super duper excited? :)

Quick notes: main image was stamped in Timber Brown StazOn on Naturals White cardstock and colored with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a blender pen. A bit of Crystal Effects was added to the butterfly and the little flower. The pearls and bracelets were colored with a white gel pen. Isn't she just the prettiest? :) I ticked the corners and those of the Chocolate Chip mat. For the next layer I paper pierced all edges and added brads in the corner before adhering the main image with dimensionals.

Below this layer is a piece of Pixie Pink cardstock that has many Sassy Circles randomly stamped on it in Chocolate Chip Classic ink. The edges were sponged with more Chocolate Chip before adhering to a slightly larger layer of Chocolate Chip cardstock. Through both of these layers a slot was punched with the slot punch (I actually punched a couple of times to maker the opening longer). Before adhering this layer to the cardbase a piece of satin ribbon was threaded through it. After adhering the layer the left end of the ribbon was wrapped around the inside of the card and back to the front were it was knotted in place. Does that make any sense at all!? :) Just a note... the slot is covered by the main image, which was adhered to the card front with more dimensionals. To finish off, a sentiment was stamped on the right side in Chocolate Chip Classic ink. Oh, and you probably want to know that the cardbase is a 5 1/4" x 10 1/2" piece of Rose Red folded in half. The crease is at the top of the card (not the side).
