BIC25: Friend to Friend

It's Tuesday and time for Beate's latest Inspiration Challenge! The challenge for this week is a piece of artwork (from Coldwater Creek I think).

I decided to incorporate the layout and some of the colors into my card... and then I added a couple of layers and embellishments. :)

My color scheme is: Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, Kraft, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze... I did switch them around a bit from the artwork. The main image is one of the flowers from Pocket Silhouettes that I stamped in Pink Pirouette Classic ink and then added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The little 3/4" wide background strips of Pink Pirouette and Kraft cardstock were stamped with the Gratuitous Graffiti background stamp in VersaMark.

Thanks for visiting and don't forget to check out what the rest of the team has created: Jennifer, Susan, Silke, Dawn and Charmaine. Make sure to visit Beate's blog for the full details and to see her wonderful sample too!

All images copyright Stampin' Up!. Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes, Gratuitous Graffiti Background. Paper: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Kraft, Creamy Caramel, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla. Ink: Pink Pirouette Classic, Chocolate Chip Classic, VersaMark. Other: Felt Fusion Too flowers, pink crystal brads (Making Memories), vintage brads, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, mat pack, paper piercer, dotted ribbon (American Crafts), dimensionals, small rectangle handheld punch, sponge.
