Paper Pretties: Cozy up with a Quilt

Two weeks ago Jackie R. challenged the Prettie Girls to quilt. So after a bit of head scratching and some purty visual aids from a few other Prettie Girls I decided to cut some squares of designer paper and sew them together. Ta-da! Quilting - paper crafter style! Woot! :)

To see more quilt-y cards check out the blogs of the rest of the Design Team:

The Hola Chica Sophia used for this card is the April Stamp of the Month Club Image. Members of the club will be shipped their Sophia in April. She will then be released to the public on May 1st. So if you want Hola Chica as soon as possible you might want to check out the SOTMC. ;)

All images copyright Paper Pretties. Stamps: Hola Chica (April SOTM). Paper: Periwinkle Buttons (Around the Block), 2008 Bitty Dot Basics (PTI), Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum, PTI Select White. Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers. Other: distressing tool, 5/16" white brads, white thread, sewing machine, dimensionals, Diamond Stickles (Ranger).

  7. I am so amazed by your coloring skills. I just got my first Pretties stamp and I am having a real hard time coloring her. People are much harder then something like flowers. Will you give us all some tips on coloring the pretties stamps????
