Today we are featuring five new stamp sets: Autumn Wreath, Spooky Wreath, Moka Tabitha, Spooky A la Carte, and Fall A la Carte!  My projects today use the new Spooky Wreath petite stamp set.

SWWedDanielle

Spooky Wreath (and Autumn Wreath) are the latest wreaths in the popular seasonal wreath series conceptualized by Jami Sibley. Illustrated by Nancy McKinney for Whimsical Wishes these petite stamp sets come on a 3" x 5.5" full color sturdy storage panel. Spooky has 7 images and Autumn has 8 images. Like the previous seasonal wreaths both of these new sets coordinate with the Seasonal Wreath Die (which I used on my tags to cut the wreaths out).

These wreath stamps are perfect on tags too as you can see from the fun Halloween tags I created.  For the tag bases I picked up some die cut tags from the Taylored Expressions Store.  I liked the fancy top to the tags and thought they would be perfect for my next batch of tags (I also picked up some in Kraft).

And do you see all of those fabulous papers and ribbons on my projects?  Those are from the brand new Spooky Project Pantry Basic Recipe Kit!

Taylor is doing something a little different this month with the Project Pantry. As you know, the idea behind the Project Pantry is that when you want to bake up a yummy dessert you head to your pantry for the ingredients. When you want to create a sweet papercrafting project, you can head to our Project Pantry for all the coordinating elements. We've found that some of the best cake and cookie recipes are the ones based around a basic batter or dough recipe with lots of options to spice it up according to your tastes. This month we are offering our Basic Recipe Kit along with optional Spice It Up Ingredients that you can pick and choose from to build the kit just the way you want it.

The Spooky Project Pantry Basic Recipe Kit is $11.95 and includes:

    • Echo Park Apothecary Emporium 6x6 pad
    • 10 sheets of 8.5" x 11" cardstock in coordinating colors
    • 6 yards of ribbon (2 yards each of 3 different styles)

Optional Spice it Up Ingredients (choose any or all) are:

    • Black Sparkly Fluff
    • Black/White Enamel Accents (I touched up the vampire’s cheeks with the White)
    • Orange Rhinestones (I also used these)
    • Black Pearls
    • Halloween Button Assortment
    • Spooky Cardstock Pack
    • Spooky Ribbon Bundle

When you go to the Spooky Project Pantry in the store you will see the optional items linked under the Basic Recipe kit, so you can pick and choose what you'd like to add to your cart. We know you'll have fun customizing your kit. :)

FangTuesDanielle_CardFor my card I stamped the vampire and pumpkin images from the stamp set on Choice Snow White cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I highlighted portions of his suit jacket with a Silver Copic Spica pen and added dots of White Enamel Accents to his cheeks… since he is a vamp he blushes white. ;)  I die cut a piece of grey cardstock using the Spooky Fence Border Die and embossed the Kraft cardstock background using the Spooky Impression plate.

The Fangtastic stamp set was illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink line.  It is a full sized set on a 5.75" x 8.5" full color sturdy storage panel and includes 21 images/sentiments.  Like all of the TE stamp sets the images are top-quality deeply etched rubber in a cute shade of pink and come on EZ Mount already trimmed and ready to be used with your acrylic blocks.

    FangTuesDanielle_Closeup

And if making cards with the kit isn’t enough fun you can also use the ingredients to create fun treat boxes.  I used a tall gable box die cut to make this fun little treat container.  Mmmmm… I’m thinking this would be perfect filled with dark chocolate Resse Peanut Butter Cups.  Nom nom nom.

Today we are featuring four new stamp sets: Build a Treat, Build a Treat Borders, Birthday A la Carte and Sweet Party.  There are also coordinating Build a Treat dies!  My first card uses Build a Treat, Build a Treat Borders and the Build a Treat Tops and Bottoms die set!

    BATMonDanielle

Build A Treat & Build a Treat Borders are a couple of delicious stamp sets concepted by Sankari Wegman and illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes line. These are the perfect sets to build all of the delicious yummy deserts that you could possibly need.  Both sets have coordinating dies for even more creative fun!  I used the dies to cut out the cupcake bottom and both of the toppings that I used on my card.  Both sets are full sized and come on a 5.75" x 8.5" full color sturdy storage panel.  From the second stamp set I used the cupcake border stamp to create a tasty background.  Nom nom nom!

    BATMondDanielle_Closeup

For my second card I used the cute petite party set: Sweet Party. This cute set pays homage to our very first stamp set - Sweet Celebration and it celebrate TE's 3rd birthday!  This adorable set was illustrated by Jessie Oleson for the Sweet Impression line of stamps.  Included in the set are the party scene image plus three sentiments.

BTW - Purchase this Petite stamp set (on a 3" x 5.5" full color sturdy storage panel) for $7.95 or get it for FREE with a purchase of $100 or more in the TE Store Thursday - Monday.

    SPMonDanielle

I stamped the party scene on Choice Snow white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  After die cutting with a Labels Nestabilities die I sponged the edges with Scattered Straw Distress ink and added Bisque Liquid Pearls.  I paired the image with Vanity Fair designer paper from My Mind’s Eye (I also used this paper on the first card).

Look close… see anything missing?  I didn’t sew on this card.  I really wanted to but I talked myself out of it! :D

    Poppin’ up to say Hello!

Hello – I’m back with a second post today and it is a poppin’! :)  I used the cute little toaster from the Kitschy Kitchen stamp set by Taylored Expressions to create a cheery hello card.

    ThreeLittleToasters

Yes… I colored the toasters blue.  I debated coloring them bright pink but thought that would be a little bit much. Just a little. ;)  The designer papers are from the new Dwell 6x6 pad by My Mind’s Eye and they are delightful!  New paper… me likey!

    FabulousShabbyFlowers

For my card I went for the shabby look and added edge distressing, sewing and some delightful fibers! :)  I stamped the sentiment in Warm Red Fluid Chalk Ink on Naturals Ivory cardstock.  On the panel below I stamped one of the flower images on blue cardstock multiple times using Lime Pastel Fluid Chalk Ink.  I then die cut the panel using a Wonky Nestabilities die.  I added Rouge Liquid Pearls along the edges.  For a final stampy touch I stamped two of the outline flowers on white cardstock and colored with the B12 Copic marker.  The flowers were trimmed and red candy dots added to the centers

    Sweet Pumpkins

    Hello all!

How was your week?  Mine went pretty good and I found a bit of stamping mojo!  So much so that I decided to take part in this week’s sketch challenge from Split Coast Stampers!  Been a long time since I did that! :)

    SC346_PurpleAndPumpkins

This week’s challenge is SC346 and you can see all the details on the challenge HERE.  I used the sweet Fall Charlotte stamp from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps… I only ordered a ‘few’ stamps from her store recently that have just been begging for ink. ;)

I stamped Charlotte in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. Portions of the image were accented with Copic Spica pens (doesn't show up the greatest in the first picture so check out the close-up below). The sentiment is from It's a Banner Day 1 stamp set from Taylored Expressions.

    SC346_PurpleAndPumpkins_Closeup

Leave me some love and let me know what you think?  Are you enjoying the sweet images from Sparkle Creations?  :)

    Recipe:
Stamps: Fall Charlotte (Sparkle Creations), It's a Banner Day 1 (There She Goes).
Paper: Naturals White, Early Espresso, Soft Sky (SU!), Choice Snow White (TE), Fly a Kite designer (My Mind's Eye).

Accessories: Oval punch (SU!), Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers), brads (SU!), striped ribbon and twine (May Arts), heavy duty white thread and sewing machine, foam dimensionals, button, tiny staples and Tiny Attacher (Tim Holtz).

    Adventure Bound on a Bicycle!

    Hey peeps!

I think I need to offset some of the chill factor (brrr… snow) from yesterday’s card with something a bit warmer.  So how about a cute bike ride on a summer day?  And some cheery yellow?  I think that will do the trick… so here is sweet summer card featuring Bicycle Chloe from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.

    AdventureBound_LoveOfYellow

I colored Chloe with Copic markers and accented with a few touches of Glossy Accents and Crystal Accents.  I shaded around the image with B000, B000 and B00 Copic markers and softened the edges a bit using a Colorless Blender pen.

    AdventureBound_LoveOfYellow_Closeup2

After stitching the image to a piece of Basic Black cardstock using my sewing machine I punched a hole with my Crop-a-dile and set a jumbo eyelet.  I needed a little extra room on the right side to tie the yellow bow and this was the perfect way to do so!  I also added a piece of ivory crocheted ribbon and attached it using the Tiny Attacher stapler by Tim Holtz.  I’m not usually a big fan of staples but these are cute and dainty and fit it nicely with all of the other metal accents I used.

    AdventureBound_LoveOfYellow_Closeup

Hmmm… I think I need to get my bike out of my garage and go for a ride!  How about you?

    Recipe:
Stamps: Bicycle Chloe (Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps).
Paper: Basic Black, Naturals White (SU!), Lemon Tart (PTI), Choice Snow White (TE), Blissful designer (Authentique).
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers.
Accessories: jumbo eyelet, brads (Recollections), Tiny Attacher (Tim Holtz), foam dimensionals tape, Crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents (Ranger), heavy duty white thread and sewing machine, satin and crocheted ribbons (May Arts), Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers).

    HappyHolidaysPuppy

Details: the stamp and sentiment are from the Snowy Days stamp set by There She Goes. :)  I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I added Glossy Accents and dusted with Crystal fine glitter… oh sparkly lights for the Christmas tree!  Me likey!

    HappyHolidaysPuppy_Closeup

The designer paper is from last year’s line by Echo Park.  I don’t have any new holiday paper yet.  But no worries… I just placed an order for some brand spankin’ new paper.  Heh heh. ;)

And because this card was so fun I made four of them.  Finished card size is 3” wide by 5.5” tall! :)

For my card today I used the fabulous Rainy Day set!  I just love that ducky!  Now I don’t need any more rain at my house but I thought this would be the perfect card for someone a little more South where the weather has been a bit drier! :)

Main image details:  Ducky was printed twice (it is a digital stamp set).  The first time he was printed with the puddle image and the second time by himself.  I colored the puddle scene with Copic markers and then cut out with an oval Nestabilities die.  The second ducky was colored with Copic markers, trimmed by hand and then affixed over the first with dimensionals.  I coated the puddle with Illuminate Smooch and added Silver Liquid Pearls along the edge of the die cut image (after it was sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink).

Some lovely Authentique designer paper and a bit of ribbon were the perfect accents for the main image.  Of course a few glittery brown Candy Dots didn’t hurt either! :)  Hope you like today’s card!

    Tiny Little Thing…

While helping out at the Taylored Expressions booth at the CHA Super Show last month I just had to pick up a couple of stamp sets that I was missing from my collection.  One of those sets being Hangin’ Out which I used to make this sweet baby card:

    ThreeLittleOnsies

I decided to use the stamp set to create a little outdoor scene – little onesies drying on the clothesline!  Ahhhh…  To create the scene I cut a 4 1/2” x 3 1/4” piece of Choice Snow White cardstock and sponged a cloudy sky using a template cut with the Clouds Border Die and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  I cut two strips of grass using the Grass Border Die and adhered them to the bottom of the cloudy sky panel.  I stamped the onesie image on white card stock three times, the poles two times and the clothespins 6 times.  For the onsies I also stamped them on designer paper, trimmed and adhered to the white cardstock.  I outlined all images using a W2 Copic marker and cut out.  I added Cotton Candy Stickles to the tops of the poles and attached them together with twine.  I adhered all of the pieces together and attached to the cloudy background – dimensionals in some spots and regular adhesive in others.  I layered the scene on Early Espresso cardstock and then attached to a Naturals White card base.  To finish I added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the edges and Crystal Stickles to the clothespins. :)
