Hello everyone!
Today is the final day of previews for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps and the new stamps are now available for purchase! But before you head to the store to shop check out the card I made with the new Watermelon Rin stamp.
As usual, I stamped Rin in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Choice Snow White cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Spica pens. After cutting out I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the watermelon (tasty good looking) and the flower in her hair.
For the background I spritzed a piece of Icy Mint cardstock with a couple of different colors of blue Glimmer Mist. After heat setting to dry I matted on a darker blue cardstock and added some grass along the bottom. To create the grass I cut a piece of green designer paper to size and then using scissors I cut the blades, a few of which I trim shorter. Use your fingers to rough up the blades of grass. Easy peasy and it adds a ton of texture.
I kept the rest of the layout simple so that the main image would really pop… just added a few rhinestones and a bit of stitching.
Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Watermelon Rin. Sparkle will be giving away Watermelon Rin to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs (listed below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Rin post. You have until midnight EST each day to comment. The lucky winner will be announced the following day!
