SCRS Preview: Poinsettia Charlotte

Hello everyone!

Today is the first day of previews for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps and we are excited about the new stamps this month! First up is the new Poinsettia Charlotte stamp (she will be available for purchase on Saturday).

I wanted to create a more rustic look for this card so I pulled out some designer paper from Simple Stories.  It made for a quick card since the paper was already printed with a snow flake, stitching and what looks like strips of paper.

Some brads, red jute and crocheted trim were the perfect accents.  I cut my sentiment a bit too short so after using a Bracket Tab die on it I ended up needing to round the corners.  Once I finished that I sponged the white cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink so it would match the designer papers a bit better.

Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Poinsettia Charlotte. Sparkle will be giving away Poinsettia Charlotte to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs (listed below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Poinsettia Charlotte post. You have until midnight EST each day to comment. The lucky winner will be announced on Monday!
