Hello!  It is time for another Ribbon Carousel challenge!  This week we are doing an “Anything Goes” challenge.

For my project I made a card featuring some lovely Ivory Twill ribbon and the Perk Up stamp set from There She Goes.

I kept the layout simple… very simple for me and paper pieced the coffee mug!  Lots of dots of Liquid Pearls and rhinestones though.  ;)

Recipe:

Paper: Pure Poppy, Kraft (PTI), choice Snow White (TE), Soft Sky (SU!), Howdy Doody designer (My Mind’s Eye).
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers (E43, C1).

SCRSC74A: It’s a Number Challenge

Hello everyone!  It is time for another Sparkle Creations challenge and this one is super easy!  All you need to do is use a number or numbers on your card!

For my card I paired some Antique Ruler Twill ribbon with numbers on it with Birthday Josh.  I think the twill and the burlap I used gave the card a more boyish feel.  What do you think?

I stamped Josh in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Choice Snow white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I then cut him out and adhered him to the card with foam dimensional dots.

Daisy Chains

Hello! I have another Copic colorific card to share.  I LOVE coloring… really!  When I was a kid a new box of crayons and a coloring book were the perfect gift.  The more colors in the box the better!  I wasn’t as fond of markers back then because they would run out of ink and bleed through the pages of the coloring book. But Copics… oh yeah… I like them a lot (and they come out with new colors)!

But enough rambling… here is card I made with a stamp from The Greeting Farm.  I was lucky enough to borrow the stamp while hanging out with my crafty peeps a week ago. :)

I colored the Anya with Copic markers and accented the image with Liquid Pearls after cutting out with an Oval Nestabilities die.  I used a fun new Memory Box die to add a delicate green border behind the image and used another stick pin in the seam binding bow.

For a final bit of pizazz I added a flower I crocheted.  A little jute and a green button finished the flower.

No sentiment on this card… just a nice “Just Because” notecard that can used anytime! ;)

Happy Everything

Hello Crafty Friends!

Popping in with a card that I made for just the fun of it! I’ve actually been making quite a few of those lately but have been terrible about sharing them with you.  Why?  Sometimes blogging just doesn’t appeal that much.  Mostly because I run out of words and have nothing interesting to say.  So I’m going to go with the “a picture is worth a 1000 words” and just post some pretty creations and keep the details to a minimum.  However if you have any questions… ask away! :D

I used Cruisin’ Chloe from Sparkle Creations and colored with Copic markers.  Applied some Glossy Accents to the windshield and the headlights.

A stickpin, a few rhinestones and some polka dot ribbon were used to showcase the main image.  Oh and some new Howdy Doody designer paper.  New paper… nice!

You Make Me Giggle

Hello Crafty Friends!

I took a little trip to Seattle, WA last weekend to hang out and stamp with some crafty peeps!  While there I actually managed to make some cards in between chatting, shopping and baking cookies.

One of the cards I made is this cutie featuring Charlotte from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.  I stamped a few of my favorite (and incredibly neglected) images and took those with me instead of the stamps themselves… only so much room in the suitcase! :)

I colored Charlotte with Copic markers and used some pretty Viola designer paper that I picked up at the Impress store near the airport.  I’d never used Memory Box designer papers before… and I likey!

I did make a few other cards and I’ll be back to share them later this week. :)
