Hi everyone! I’m popping in with a card that is all about texture and is celebrating the end of winter. Well, at least I’m assuming that the end of winter is near. It didn’t feel like that at work today when I needed to wrap myself in a blanket to stay warm. Brr…
For the main image I used an Anya from the Miss Anya Scarves stamp set from The Greeting Farm. You can find this stamp set HERE in the Inspiration Emporium store. I colored her with Copic markers before cutting out with scissors. I almost always color and then cut out.
I mentioned texture early and indeed I used quite a few embellishments. The main embellishment is a heart I crocheted from yarn and attached to the card using natural jute and a wood button (once in place I added a few dabs of glue behind the heart to really keep it in place). I also added a small length of crocheted trim behind a skinny strip of designer paper. And a few pearls… just because. ;)
