Hmm… I think the card I’m sharing today is very appropriate. The weather was supposed to be nicer today, but it is not. And seeing snowflakes is making me very grumpy, indeed. ;)
However, I did cheer up a bit after making this card. Nothing like a fun dino to make the day better, right? The dino and tree are from the Cuteasaurus stamp set from Paper Smooches and the designer papers I used are from the new All About a Boy paper pad by Echo Park. Yay, for new designer paper. ;)
To make the card I die cut an opening in the green cardstock and then I attached some natural jute string in a zig zag pattern to the back of the opening. After adhering the orange polka dot designer paper and the colored and trimmed tree to the card base I attached the frame using some foam dimensional tape (make sure to stamp the sentiment first!). For embellishment I added another strip of designer paper and a few brown pearls. I also coated the dino’s eye with Glossy Accents. He’s all, “I’m watching you… with my bright shiny eyes.” Heh heh.
