Hello – Been a weird last few days of weather here – from chilly with wind to sunny to overcast and back to sunny. To celebrate the *fun* weather, here is a sweet card using the Rain Snow Shine stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I might need to borrow her umbrella. ;)
I stamped the Anya image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers before cutting out. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Sampler set from Paper Smooches and I stamped it in Jet Black Archival ink on the designer paper. I like how crisp and deep this black is; however it doesn’t play nice with Copic markers so I use the Memento when coloring.
For some additional texture on the background I stamped the chicken wire image from the Mixed Media set on Milled Lavender cardstock by inking the stamp with Picket Fence Distress Paint. Per my usual, I added stitching, pearls and a bit of ribbon. I also used a lot of foam dimensional tape to adhere all of the layers together. You can see the dimension a bit more on this side shot:
