Something old, something new…

Hello. This month’s challenge at the Inspiration Emporium is all about brides, weddings and anniversaries.  The challenge is open to interpretation but I took it literally and made a card with a bride on it.

The bride is from the I Do stamp set by The Greeting Farm and I colored her with Copic markers.  After cutting out I coated her veil with Diamond Stickles and added Glossy Accents to her tiara.

For the panel behind her, I cut triangles from the So Noted designer paper and layered them on a piece of off-white cardstock (doesn’t show) before stitching the edges with my sewing machine. I embossed the panel beneath with the Gears embossing folder and finished the card with a few brads and some vintage seam binding.
