Let’s Shell-ebrate

Hello – I have a sweet little birthday card to share today.  This one celebrates a first birthday – and my nephew just turned 1 so you can guess where I’ll be sending this one. ;)

The layout is the latest sketch from Retrosketches (#73). You know I love these challenges:

I used a couple of stamp sets from Paper Smooches; Party Posse for the turtle and sentiment and Tri-balation to create the patterned background. The turtle was colored with Copic markers and embellished with Glossy Accents and Clear Rock Candy Distress glitter.  I die cut a number one from green cardstock using the Digits Dies and used it and some pearls as embellishment on the background.

Coupon Alert!  If you are shopping at the Inspiration Emporium you can use coupon code fatcatstamper for 10% off your order. Pictured below are links to some of the products I used to create this card. :)

Stamps: Tri-balation and Party Posse (Paper Smooches).
Dies: Digits (Paper Smooches), Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders).
Paper: Aqua, Taffy (Bazzill Card Shoppe), Kraft (MFT), Choice Snow White (TE), My Favorite Things (My Mind’s Eye).
Ink: Aqua (MFT), Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Jet Black Archival (Ranger), Copic markers.
Accessories: Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter, Glossy Accents (Ranger), pearls (Queen & Co.), Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers).
