With the drop in temperatures it is finally sweater season (my kind of weather). Of course, after sweater season comes snowman season which means it is about time I pull out some winter stamps including this cute one by Paper Smooches.
I’m still on a texture kick so I broke out some Dylusions Ink Spray and a couple of ink pads to create an inky background (spritz spritz, dry, and stamp). I found some matching designer paper (Authentique) and cut out a portion of a circle that I matted on some burlap paper which was cut with a scalloped circle die. I pleated a bit of matching paper and distressed the edges before stitching the layers together. I also stitched the inked up background to a piece of black cardstock.
Now for the snowman – he was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. I added Diamond Stickles and once dry I stuck him to the card with an Action Wobble – this really really pops him up on the card. Fun! I added a few big rhinestones from my stash and a bit of polka dot washi tape to finish the card.
