I used the bag topper, a little image, and a perfect matching sentiment to decorate the top of a paper bag filled with yummy candy.

I stamped the topper image on designer paper and then cut out (I don’t have the matching dies yet but I will soon).  I stamped the topper a second time on the light green cardstock so that I could use it as a guide to cut out a matching oval.  Once cut out I stamped the sentiment, roughed up the edges and embellished with some bumpy rhinestones.  For more detail I stamped the holly image on watercolor paper, colored with Distress Markers, and embellished with Glossy Accents.  Once dry I adhered the cut out image to the topper with a dimensional.

I cut out a slightly wider piece of kraft cardstock that was a couple inches longer to create a flap. After scored I added dots of Liquid Pearls along the front of the flap.,

To attach the topper I folded down the top of the white paper bag and stapled the kraft piece in place.  I then adhered the decorated topper using foam dimensional tape.  Assembling it this way covered the staples on the front of the bag. :)
