Hiya! I recently ordered a couple of fun new dies from Inspiration Emporium and I received them yesterday. I was so inspired that I immediately made this cute winter card. I wasn’t as inspired to blog so it took me a day to get this post written. Heh. ;)
The sweet snowman is from the Making Frosty Friends stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I’ve been on a red scarf kick lately so Frosty has a red one and a red hat. I kicked things up a bit by adding Liquid Applique to the fluffy parts of the hat and dusting with Rock Candy glitter before puffing by heating with a heat gun. The “hello” is from the So Much to Say set, also by Lawn Fawn.
When you flip the card open there is a second sentiment panel with a coordinating saying from the Making Frosty Friends set. The die set I used to cut out the base card, designer paper and the sentiment panels is Fancy Frame Flip-its #2 by Sizzix.
The dies made the card assembly super easy so I had extra time to focus on the embellishment. There is some fun printed red ribbon (retired SU!), silver washi tape (MT), silver twinkle twine (Lawn Fawn), a couple of buttons, and a few rhinestones.
What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts on this crafty project. :D
