C4C226: Eat Cake!

Hello! Yikes! It was a LONG work week and I am so glad it is the weekend. And that it is a few degrees warmer. I may just have to celebrate with some cake. LOL.

Speaking of cake, here is a sweet birthday card that I made for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges C4C226: sentiment only card. Easy peasy, right? Although I’m rethinking the butterflies; do they break the rules? If they do, oops!

The sentiment is one of my fave images: Graphic Greetings – Birthdays from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sentiment twice: once one white cardstock and a second time on a piece of pink patterned paper (Front Porch from Pebbles). I cut out a portion of the sentiment from the designer paper and adhered over the first image using foam dimensional tape.

Lots of pretty layers and embellishments – I diecut littler butterflies from pink cardstocks and layered them together and added some enamel dots. I also diecut a couple of flags from matching designer paper and tucked them behind the main sentiment panel. Oh, and do you see those black dots? I used my very neglected Black Onyx Liquid Pearls to add them.
