Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Doodles and More Doodles

Hello! Have you been enjoying all of the lovely new stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions? It is an ah-mazing release and I’m excited to hear what you think of it. ;)

Today I’m showcasing a couple of the sets I illustrated. The first is the new Pockets & Pages Doodle Days & Numbers set. There is a matching Pocket & Pages Doodle Months.

I used the numbers from the set to create a colorful panel. I stamped the numbers in Jet Black Archival Ink on watercolor paper and then used Distress Reinkers and painted on a bit of color. I added a few splotches here and there using leftover ink.

I cut a panel from white cardstock using the Party Banner Cutting Plate. I embellished here and there with a few sequins and some little pink butterflies cut out using the Tiny Toppers die set.

For the second  project I used the Doodle Borders stamp set to create a set of tags. I was so excited to create a set of borders that will be perfect on their own or to create fun backgrounds!

If one tag is pretty, a set of tags is even prettier!

I used one of the scallop lines stamped in multiple colors of ink to create some cheerful paper. It is hard to tell in the photos but there is some delicate shimmer that I created by completely coating the paper with Frosted Crystal Antiquities Embossing Powder and heat embossing. Once cooled I cut the paper to size and matted on black cardstock. Stitched on a bit of black ruffled gingham ribbon and embellished with a clip, sentiment (from the Many Minis – Occastions set), and enamel dots.

That is it from me today, but before you head off I have a few last notes of interest.
