Hello sweet friends -
With the changes in the weather lately I am ready for Fall, which means pumpkins and Halloween and caramel apples. Mmmm… caramel apples. Nom nom nom. Indeed, caramel apples are a favorite of mine and since the main ingredient is an apple they must be ‘good’ for you. Hopefully very good since I just can’t resist that caramel goodness. ;) On the other hand I prefer my pumpkins in the round and decorative. Like the ones I used on these little wooden tags:
These pumpkins are an accessory image from the new Critters in Costume stamp set I illustrated for Taylored Expressions. The sentiment is also from the same set – love the coordinating sentiments Team Taylor design.
Kept the layout of these simple so that the pumpkin could shine… literally. After coloring with markers and cutting out I coated elements of the face with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen and Glossy Accents. The coordinating sentiment was stamped on vellum and stapled to a piece of designer paper before adhering it to the back of the tag.
Sweet little tags that would look great on a Halloween treat… perhaps a caramel apple? Nom nom nom. :)
