Hello Crafty Friends!
I’m back with the third tag in the series. This time I build a cozy house using the Build a House dies from Taylored Expressions.
I cut out various house parts from different colors of cardstock and assembled the building. The windows were coated with Glossy Accents and dusted with Clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles Glitter.
Behind the house is a piece of cardstock that was covered in Foil Tape, die cut, and then embossed with the Rulers embossing folder. I applied a bit of Picket Fence Distress Paint and once almost dried I rubbed off some of it. Finished the main panel by spelling “Merry” using Label Letter Stickers.
Behind the main panel I added a small printed treat bag. I cut off the top so that it would be a bit smaller and have a straight edge.
I created a small decorated panel that could be inserted into the small pocket. For the tag base I used the Christmas Stencil and sprayed it with Fired Brick Distress Stain Spray.
For a final touch I added baker’s twine and one of the Plaquettes.
If you haven’t guessed this is the tag that will probably find its way onto my mom’s gift. Although I may replace the foam letters… their wonkiness is driving me a bit nuts. :D
Check back tomorrow for the fourth tag in the series!
