A Moment of Happiness

Hey crafty friends -

How about I share an illuminating card with you today? Hee hee…

HappyLightBulb_A_DanielleLounds

Every once in a while I pick an image just because I like it, not to make a card for a specific holiday or event. In today’s case, I really like the light bulb blueprint from Mini Blueprints #3 and planned my card around it and playing along with the latest Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge, #21 Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I used the technique on the white tag, using a background image from CMS057 School Desk . It went quite well with the water colored light bulb.

All I needed to do was add a few of my favorite embellishments and a few pieces of designer paper from Kaiser Craft here and there. For a final finishing touch, I stamped the happy from CMS183 Hashtags in black.

  3. Danielle...this is such a cute card! I totally love how you've used Tim's Rock Candy Glitter technique! So cute! Your layering of all of these shapes and patterns is wonderful! I also love all of the white on this card....it's so stark and really makes the bits of color POP! Thanks for sharing your card with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
