Pocketful of Delight

Hello Crafty Friends -

How about a fun Spring Challenge to start the week? The Inspiration Emporium’s challenge this month is Spring Blooms. All you need to do is include a flower of some kind on your project. Easy peasy and there is a great prize: $50 gift certificate to the Inspiration Emporium Store. So make sure you head over to the blog to find out all of the details (and see some great samples).

For my project first project this month I used the Pocketful of Sunshine and Coordinating Die (Taylored Expressions) as the focal point. This is a set that I illustrated the images for and it is available in the IE Store. I’m particularly fond of the frog in this set which shouldn’t be much of a surprise.

The image was colored with Copic markers and embellished with Glossy Accents and glitter.

For the colorful background, I used the Tim Holtz Harlequin Stencil and Sakura Koi Watercolors to color a piece of watercolor paper. I LOVE this technique and you may be seeing it a few more times this month.

Much foam tape was sacrificed in the making of this card. LOL.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a delightful week!

Also, if you are shopping at the Inspiration Emporium you can use coupon code fatcatstamper for 10% off your order. Pictured below are links to some of the products I used to create this card.

  1. Totally gorgeous! That pocket die is so versatile, Jo x

  2. LOVE the watercolored harlequin and the soft florals in the background of this fun pocket!

Thanks for your sweet comments! I love hearing from you. :)
