Hello, missing you

Hello – I have a sweet card to share tonight featuring some of my favorite blooms: CMS215 Flower Garden from Stampers Anonymous.

For this card I stamped a flower from the set multiple times on watercolor cardstock and heat set with gold embossing powder. Once the paper cooled I used Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pens to add some color here and there. I had some difficulty blending the colors after they were applied to the cardstock so in some places I actually scribbled first on another surface and then picked up the color with a regular water brush and applied it to the cardstock for a softer look.

I then cut the panel to size using a stitched rectangle die and added a bit more texture by spritzing with a distress marker. I also applied Clear Wink of Stella Glitter to the flower centers.

To embellish, I cut multiple hellos from cardstock and stacked them together to create a thick sentiment. I finished the sentiment by stamping “#missingyou” from CMS183 Hashtags in Manganese Blue Archival Ink. For a final touch I added a few sequins.

Thanks for stopping by and if you are shopping at the Inspiration Emporium you can use coupon code fatcatstamper for 10% off your order. Pictured below are links to some of the products I used to create this card.
