A little bit wicked

Hello, Crafty Friends -

Took a break from card making this last week or so and spent some time on other artsy pursuits. Like the new banner across the top of my blog. It is meow-y cute and I hope you like it. However the other night I made a card featuring a fun witch from Paper Smooches and I’m delighted to share it. And look at that lovely skin color…

I colored the witch with Copic Markers and added some Glossy Accents to the buckle on her hat and her lips. I also used a white gel pen to add dots to her dress.

The main panel is a piece of watercolor paper that I gave a quick wash of color to using Sakura Koi Watercolors and a large paintbrush. Once dry I die cut with a stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn.

I added a cluster of embellishments to the upper left corner including a Tim Holtz metal token, a flair button, sequin, and some twine. Behind the main panel I added a couple strips of designer paper (My Mind’s Eye) and a line of purple washi tape (Queen & Co). Quick tip: Glossy Accents is great for attaching metal embellishments. I used it on both the token and the flair button.

Thanks for stopping by and if you are shopping at the Inspiration Emporium you can use coupon code fatcatstamper for 10% off your order. Pictured below are links to some of the products I used to create this card.
