Hello – to celebrate the very warm temps outside I decided to stay inside and make a Christmas card. And eat some ice cream. :D
For this card I used the new CMS249 – Scribbly Trees. I stamped one of the trees on a strip of designer paper and again on white cardstock. I colored the second tree with Distress Markers and cut out. I adhered it over the first tree and fluffed the outside branches to give it some dimension. I added a few small enamel dots as ornaments.
For the circle panel I diluted a bit of Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint with just a tiny amount of water and then painted it onto watercolor paper. Once dry I splattered a bit of Twisted Citron Distress Paint onto the panel. Once dry I used a stitched circle die from MFT to cut out the panel. I adhered the designer paper with the tree to it and then embellished with ivory jute and a Tidings Token. For a final touch I added a small piece of washi tape and rounded the corners of the ivory card base.
