For day three of sneak peeks I have used the new Freedom & Fireworks stamp set to create a quick colorful card for the 4th of July. This set would also be great for celebrating birthdays and other special events by just using a different sentiment.
For this card I put away my Copic markers and instead used my Distress markers for a direct to stamp technique. I colored directly on the stamp with different colors of markers. Once the entire image was colored I misted with water and stamped on watercolor paper. Once the image was dry I added a sentiment flag and a few coordinating jelly rhinestones. A bit of die cutting with a Stitched Rectangle Stacklet and the addition of some designer paper finished the card.
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to visit the TE Blog to find out more details on the release and to find a list of talented designers who are sharing sneak peeks today. I've also heard rumors of a giveaway!
