I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and hopefully this week will be a good one too. And if you are one of the lucky/unlucky ones to end up snowed in by the Great Storm that you have plenty of hot chocolate on hand. Perhaps a super speedy internet connection too... so you can see all of the fabulous sneak peeks that the Baker's Dozen will be posting this week. :) Speaking of sneak peeks, the team is sharing samples today using the new Cozy Cottages set. We are also featuring three new dies: Picket Fence die, Cloud Duo Dies and Whimsy Tree (I used the first two on my card).

A little info about the stamp set: Cozy Cottages is a set of fairytale homes illustrated by Nancy for the Whimsical Wishes collection. It is also the next addition to the TE Giving Tree series of special stamp sets that help support various charities. SWEET! Like the other TE Giving Tree stamp sets this set comes in sheet form and needs to be trimmed. This allows us to donate more to charity. It is the same great rubber on cling foam - it just requires a bit of a workout for your rubber cutting scissors. :)

So, which charity are we supporting? For the months of February, March and April when you purchase this set you'll be helping to support Habitat for Humanity.
Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups and others have joined together to successfully tackle a significant social problem – decent housing for all. Habitat for Humanity is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing, having built more than 350,000 houses, sheltering more than 1.75 million people in more than 3,000 communities worldwide. Please visit http://www.habitat.org/ for more information on this incredible charity. Taylored Expressions will donate $7.00 to Habitat for Humanity for each Cozy Cottages stamp set sold in the next 3 months.
Nothing like supporting a great cause and getting a fabby stamp set at the same time. :) And this one is fabby! The houses range from very whimsical to something you might find down the street... there is even one shaped like a mushroom. COOL! For my card I used the little farm house. See the weather vane at the top?
The roof of the house, clouds, picket fence and background are all designer paper from the Hopscotch 6 x 6 pad by Basic Grey. I used the diecut fence as a border behind the main image. It was layered over a piece of pink cardstock that was stitched to the cardbase and then some twine was tied around it.
